  1. VISUAL BASIC ACCESS KEY POTATO

  4. The Access Key Potato is a very simple little tool
  5. that can help you figure out what letters are used,
  6. which still available, for use as underlined access
  7. keys on Visual Basic controls with text.
  8.  
  9. It's VERY simple: Start the program, and it'll put
  10. itself at the bottom of your screen. Then go through
  11. your controls' text and see what letters you've 
  12. assigned as the underlined access keys, checking the
  13. letters' boxes in the Potato as you go.
  14.  
  15. As you check a letter, it will grey out and, of 
  16. course, get a checkmark in its box. You can easily
  17. see what's left.

  19. To start again on another form, click the "Clear"
  20. button, and all letter and number checks will 
  21. return to their unchecked state. Click the "Close"
  22. button to shut the program down. You can also 
  23. minimize the window by choosing Minimize from the
  24. Potato's control menu.

  26. After spending far too much time with scraps of 
  27. paper keeping track of this stuff, I finally got a
  28. brain and figured that VB could help me with this
  29. aspect of VB as it has so many others. Hope you find
